Christian Brothers Academy senior Cole Speidel made the most of his National letter of intent signing day, making his commitment to the prestigious University of Pennsylvania.

While swimming is a huge part of his life, academics was also key when deciding where to spend the next four years of his life, " I'm looking to major in International Relations in college, maybe some economics, so it is a really good school for those two programs."

Soon to be CBA grad, Speidel attributes his hard work and goal-oriented mindset to the environment his high school teammates and coach provided.

Speidel comments on his supporters "I'm very happy. I'm actually very thankful that they all came out, it was very nice of them to come."
