Christian Brothers Academy football is ready to take one step further than it did in 2010. The Brothers, consistently labeled as too small, or not good enough.

Game after game, they defied the odds.

CBA capped off an undefeated regular season as the #1 seed in Class AA, and fell just short of a Section III championship after a last second 47 yard field goal from Riley Dixon had plenty of distance but was barely wide on the upright.

This year, CBA hears the same critics it did in 2010 and once again intends on proving them wrong. It lost plenty of playmakers including quarterback Tyler Hamblin, but new leaders are ready to step up, like new starter Cam MacPherson (yes, Coach Mac's grandson, and the younger brother of SU center Macky Macpherson) and SU football commit Ben Barrett.

Certainly the new stars will immediately be put to the test, as the Brothers open up the season against those aforementioned B'ville Bees, followed by a game against Mansfield, from Massachussets.
