OSWEGO -- March Madness is gripping Central New York, but the excitement isn't limited to just basketball.
The Oswego State hockey team left today for the Division III Frozen Four in Lake Placid. The Lakers are no strangers to the National Championships - they won it back in 2007 - but the team is ready to hang another banner in their arena.
The Frozen Four includes St. Norbert, who the Lakers will play on Friday at 4:00 p.m. Should Oswego win, they'll meet the winner of Norwich and Plattsburgh, a team Laker fans are all too familiar with.
We asked the team about the upcoming championships, and potentially meeting SUNYAC rival Plattsburgh, which resulted in a moment the team will never forget.
