It's March, temperatures hovered around 40, and lacrosse was played at several Central New York High Schools, and an upset was earned by Jamesville-Dewitt.

The Red Rams, the defending Class B Section III Champs, traveled to Camillus to take on the defending Class A Section III Champs from West Genesee. The game was close most of the way, with J-D taking a 6-5 halftime lead. After Tim Barber tied it at 6, the Red Rams went on a tear, and Jake Bratek unleashed a flurry of goals as Jamesville-Dewitt knocked off the crowned jewel of high school lacrosse in Central New York by a final score of 16-9.

Central Square hosted Henninger in a Class A battle, and battle would be an appropriate way to describe the contest, it was tied at 1 after the first quarter and the rest of the contest remained just as close as the Redhawks edged Henninger 8-7. Mike Brandt scored 3 goals in the victory.

Elsewhere in Boys Lacrosse F-M knocked off Whitesboro 10-3 and C-NS beat South Jefferson 15-5.

In girls lacrosse Henninger/Nottingham edged Jordan Elbridge 11-10 and F-M squeaked past Liverpool 14-13.
