It was a busy day of Sectional Playoffs at Westhill High School as the boys lacrosse and baseball teams both earned first round wins at home on Tuesday.

The defending State Champion baseball team made short work of Clinton, winning 13-3. a 3-run 4th and a 5-run 5th proved to be the difference, as Dan Karleski led the charge going 2-3 with 4 RBI's coming by way of a 2-run homerun and a 2-run triple. The Warriors now host the winner of a game between their neighbors from Solvay and Adirondack.

The Boys Lacrosse team also opened Sectionals on a high note, beating Onondaga 9-4. Mark Mcananey registered 16 saves in an all around great defensive effort from the Warriors. Tris Nicola and Dylan Tripodi each scored three goals. The Warriors now advance to play Cazenovia on Thursday.
