Wesley Johnson made an appearance at the Great Northern Mall Friday for an autograph session. The session took place at the Time Warner Store and was to promote the Timberwolves' first exhibition game of the season at the Carrier Dome, the RoadRunner NBA Classic.
Johnson made it clear that he was happy to be back and flattered by all the attention, namely a line that snaked around the mall.
When we walked the distance of the line to get a shot for our newscast, it took 1 minute and 25 seconds to get from the TW store to the final person in line.
“It’s a lot of love. I’m very very happy and glad to be back. I was kind of antsy coming back. I’m speechless right now. I can say that.” Wes said of all the attention.
Johnson, Jonny Flynn and the Timberwolves will play an exhibition game against the Detroit Pistons October 15th at the Carrier Dome.
