The Section III Soccer playoffs kicked off on Tuesday night with several schools across Central New York earning berths in the quarterfinals.

On the girls side of things, in Class AA (6) C-NS used a late goal by Stephanie Liberati to hold off (11) Rome Free Academy 2-1. The Northstars now go on to meet (3) Watertown. Elsewhere in Class AA (7) F-M beat (10) Henninger 6-0 to earn a rematch with CBA. Elsewhere in Class AA Auburn beat Oswego 2-1 and West Genesee defeated Utica-Proctor 3-0.

Skaneateles 2, South Jefferson 0

Fulton 1, Indian River 0

Clinton 2, Cazenovia 1

Boys Playoff Scores:

Bishop Ludden 3, Waterville 0

Tully 4, West Canada Valley 0

Westhill 8, Adirondack 0

Cortland 1, Fulton 1. Cortland wins on penalty kicks.
