Nick Walker looks for an open man
CBA used a second half surge to get by East Syracuse-Minoa Tuesday night in girls' hoops action.
The visiting Brothers led 23-18 in the first half, but limited the Spartans to only 9 second half points to earn the 44-27 win.
Marisa Romeo led the way for CBA with 16 points. The Brothers improve to 1-2 while ES-M drops to 1-1.

On the boy's side, Bishop Ludden took down Marcellus 51-33.
The Gaelic Knights dominated throughout, never trailing en-route to the 18 point victory.
Casey Ganley led Ludden with 18 points and Daniel Kaigler pitched in with 17.
Carey Mielnicki was the high-scorer for the Mustangs with 8.
