It's been a long, hard road for C-NS alum Laquan James, but his true grit and determination allowed him to succeed.
You see, James graduated from C-NS in 2008. He went to prep school for a year after that where he suffered an ankle injury, scaring away many division one suitors. After that, he went to Junior-College for a couple years, living on his own, all while maintaining his dream.
A dream that came to fruition on Saturday.
Laquan signed with FCS (Division I-AA) Power Delaware, the Blue Hens are perennial national title contenders, and now Laquan has a chance to perhaps earn a ring.
As James signed his letter of intent to Delaware, he was flanked by family and friends all proud of what Laquan was able to accomplish.
