It's hard to believe but the 2nd annual Empower Federal Credit Union Upstate vs. Downstate Football Classic is just about a month away.
On June 5th, the best football players from Upstate New York will battle the best from "Downstate" at the Carrier Dome.
Last year, the Downstate team won, but by way of a combine on Sunday, and an upcoming combine May 15th, the Upstate team is preparing to even the score.
The game should be of interest to SU Football fans, as 8 players in the game will suit up for the Orange this fall. That list includes Upstate QB Ashton Broyld and Downstate QB Terrel Hunt
