Two Section III boys lacrosse teams have punched their tickets to the State Semifinals. Both J-D and Cazenovia beat Section X teams in Potsdam on Saturday. Connor Cannizaro notched 8 points for Cazenovia with 3 goals and 5 assists, while his brother Sean had 6 points in a 14-13 win over Salmon River . J-D improved to 20-0 on the season with an 18-4 win over St. Lawrence.
Two Section III girls teams also beat their section X opponents today in Canton. CBA took care of Potsdam 21-3, while Oswego beat Massena 17-11. Taylor Giglio led the way for Oswego with 2 goals and 7 assists.
