We all remember "The Salute" when Kansas State scored a touchdown to get within two points of SU at the Pinstripe Bowl, and Adrian Hilburn saluted the crowd, prompting a 15-yard penalty, and an 18-yard two point conversion attempt.
At Big XII Media Day, the salute was still a hot topic with officials.
Bill Snyder talked about the same issue in more depth.
SU won the Pinstripe Bowl 36-34 over Kansas State, after the aforementioned two-point conversion failed, and SU ran out the clock.
