On the eve of "Orange Fan Fest" for the SU Football Team there is a less then festive feel as far as the injury reports go. It was confirmed by SU Athletics on Thursday that starting strong safety Shamarko Thomas and offensive linemen Nick Robinson and Ian Allport have been sidelined indefinitely because of concussions sustained at practice on Wednesday.

This news comes just days after starting free safety Phillip Thomas had to have surgery after fracturing his jaw at practice. Offensive Lineman Nick Lepak is also out with a concussion, while Zach McCarrel is out with a sprained hamstring.

Of the latest injuries, the junior Thomas played in all 13 games for the Orange last season, recording 67 tackles along the way. Robinson is a freshman offensive tackle from Liverpool.
