The Baldwinsville Bees are looking to do something this season no Class AA team has ever done, win three straight Section III championships.

Head Coach Carl Sanfilippo says the key just might be in the trenches. The Bees lost four starters on the o-line, including Orange Freshman Nick Robinson.

"We just want them to be good, we want them to step on the same page, we want everybody to just be in sync," Sanfilippo says. "And I think if they do that, they'll do an excellent job."

But the bees return strong skill position players across the board, plus a hard-hitting defense. Senior middle linebacker Carter Twombly says a Section III championship would be nice, but he's thinking state championship.

"We've been starting momentum since the last season ended. It's the only game we've been talking about so far, so we want to win."

The Bees open the season Friday night against CBA, a game that always seems to go down to the wire.
