It's been an exciting 12 months to be in Cazenovia.
All three seasons of the 2010-2011 school year Cazenovia won a New York State Championship.
The Field Hockey team just made sure that amazing streak continued.
By way of a thrilling 3-2 victory over Greenwich, the Lakers won its second state championship in a row, and secured the school's streak of winning a state title every season starting at this time last year.
The Lakers led 2-0 in the first half, but Greenwich rallied to force overtime. In the extra session though, Caz scored the game winning goal and celebrated on the field at C-NS High School.
