Cicero-North Syracuse star basketball player Breanna Stewart was once again recognized by the basketball community on Tuesday.

The Atlanta Tip-Off Club named Stewart the 2012 Naismith High School Female Player of the Year. Already committed to playing basketball at UCONN next season, she is the 7th UCONN signee to win the award, joining fellow Naismith winners and UCONN alums Maya Moore and Diana Tourasi.

It's not the first award in what's already been an extremely decorated career for the CNS senior, as she has been previously selected as a McDonald's All- American, and named USA Basketball's 2011 Athlete of the Year.

Stewart will be formally recognized during the Naismith Awards Banquet at the Georgia International Convention Center in Atlanta March 22.
