Cicero-North Syracuse senior Breanna Stewart will need to add another wing to her trophy room, as earlier today she was named Miss New York Basketball for 2012 by the Basketball Coaches Association.
This award comes just one week after Stewart was recognized as the Naismith Female High School Player of the Year. Bound for powerhouse University of Connecticut in the fall, Stewart averages 22 points, and 15 rebounds per game.
Her prior honors include 2011 New York State Gatorade Player of the Year, 2011 USA Women's Basketball Player of the Year, and McDonald's All-American.
