CBA junior softball pitcher Jordan Sheridan continues to show maturity and charity well beyond her teenage years.

For the second consecutive season Jordan is seeking donations for every strikeout she records, and will donate all of thsoe pledges to The Samaritan Center.

Last year, Jordan recorded 139 strikeouts and sent over $3,700 to the center which helps feed thousands of Central New Yorkers. She hopes to raise much more than that this year, and through one game she has 13 strikeouts. The potential is there for a breakout season, as a freshman in 2010 Jordan recorded a perfect game.

If you'd like to pledge money to Jordan's cause you can email her mother Kim at KSherid764@earthlink.net.
