The CBA girls lacrosse team is the defending New York State Champion, and hopes for a repeat lie with the senior leaders of the team.
A couple weeks ago, we featured Marisa Romeo as our CNY Central Athlete, and today we're introducing you to Caroline Webster.
Caroline is a senior, who leads the Brothers in scoring with 38 points, 27 of those are goals. She's been on the team since she was in 8th grade, when she was given the nickname "The Rookie". The nickname has stuck, but her play on the field doesn't match the name.
Evidence of that, in addition to torching the nets this season, is her acceptance of a scholarship offer from Syracuse University. A fantastic opportunity for Caroline, who not only will join current teammate Taylor Gait on the hill, but also will be reunited with her sister Katie who is a sophomore with the Orange.
But before donning the orange and blue, Caroline hopes to create even more history wearing purple and gold at CBA. She's focused on a repeat performance in the sectional and state championships.
