The OCC Mens Lacrosse team has won the JUCO National Champtionship in 2006, 2007, 2009, 2010 and 2011. So the Lazers, who now find themselves in the Final Four this weekend on Long Island, can complete the "4-peat" this weekend.

On paper, that scenario seems rather likely. OCC is undefeated this year, and its closest game, was an 11-goal victory over Nassau CC.

But Lazer Head Coach Chuck Wilbur knows better than to let his team fall into that trap, telling me on Tuesday "It's a whole new season, but the same approach"

Wilbur went on to say that while a 4-peat, if they were fortunate enough to play for that chance, would be special. What's more special is the opportunity all of his freshmen players have, to win a National Championship for the very first time.

OCC battles Genesee CC on Saturday at Nassau CC. If they beat Genesee, they would play the winner of Nassau CC and Essex of Maryland for the national title.
