CORTLAND --

The NCAA Division Three championship game is all you could ask for if you are interested in the very best playing the very best.

The Cortland Red Dragons are looking to complete an undefeated season against also undefeated Salisbury University.

The Red Dragons know they’ll have their hands full in Foxbory on Sunday, but it’s a matchup they’ve been waiting for all year.

"At the beginning of the year it was all about Salisbury," says senior attack man Greg Wright. "They're going to be the team to beat, Salisbury is going to win it again, they're the best team, and no one really expected that out of us. I think we've proved a lot of people wrong just getting here, but that's not good enough for us, you know, we want to win that game."

"They've been focused on one goal since they started," says Cortland Head Coach Steve Beville, "This senior class was a National Champion in 2009, so they've been there, they've prepared for this, they've been waiting for their chance."

"We fell a little bit short the past couple of years, so I think they're really taking advantage of the opportunity. They've been working real hard, and I think we're going to have a good product on the field come Sunday," says Beville.

Cortland will be playing in the title game for the first time since winning it in 2009. The juniors and seniors know what it’s like to play in a big venue like Gillette Stadium, and to be able to keep their composure.

"it's going to be a big crowd," says Zach Mulvaney, "probably around twenty or twenty-five thousand people, but we just prepare like it's any other game, like we're playing at home or we're playing away, it doesn't really matter, our goal is to be in control of our emotions and to stay focused."

The NCAA Division III Men's Lacrosse Championship Game faces off this Sunday at 4 p.m. at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts.
