BALDWINSVILLE -- The Baldwinsville Bees certainly created a buzz at sectionals this year, with both the boys and girls soccer teams and the girls volleyball team headed to the state championships this weekend. No one is more excited about that than this week’s Dunkin’ Donuts Action News Athlete, Jennifer Fabian.

The senior saptain of the Baldwinsville girls soccer team has been waiting four long years to win sectionals, and is finally getting her first taste of the state championships. Her team’s first game will be Friday morning when the Bees take on the Section I Champions John Jay-East Fishkill.

Baldwinsville will need Fabian’s aggressive and skillful style of play more than ever if they want to make it to Saturday’s championship game. Head Coach Kathy Morse says Fabian is an all-around player who sometimes even plays midfield because of her defensive skill set. She has 14 goals and 5 assists so far this season, and hopes to add to that heading towards a chance at a state championship.

No matter what happens, Fabian is all set to play for Le Moyne next season.
