SYRACUSE -- Syracuse University announced a new ticket pricing plan for the 2009 football season. Season tickets for all eight home games start at $100, and go up to $230. And the $100 "Touchdown Town" end zone sections have been expanded to include 2,300 more seats. Also, 7,400 seats in the 300 level corner areas are now $150. Lower end zone and and sideline preferred seating prices remain $205, while the student season ticket price is also the same as 2008 ($115). Tickets in the sideline and lower level corner areas in non-preferred sections are $230.

Syracuse's season starts September 5 with a home game against Minnesota. The Orange will also take on Northwestern, Maine and Akron at the Carrier Dome before the Big East schedule begins.  The dates for those games are expected to be announced later this month.
