The SU men's lacrosse team completed its inaugural Big East season undefeated, topping St. John's 15-7 on Saturday in Queens. Chris Daniello led the scoring efforts with four goals. The Orange is undoubtedly set to receive a home game in the first round of the NCAA tournament after finishing the season 13-1. The seedings are chosen Sunday night.

Those seedings will be a little more stressful for the SU women's lacrosse team, who fell in the Big East Championship to Georgetown 13-11. The Orange had beaten the Hoyas in the 2007 and 2008 conference championship games. Syracuse should be in the NCAA tournament, but it's not a sure thing, the selection show for the women's NCAA tournament is Sunday at 10 p.m. on CBS College Sports.
