Nottingham Football in a brand new "Class"

SYRACUSE -- The Nottingham Bulldogs didn't have their best season last year, finishing the year at 2-6. This year however the team hopes to improve on that record. Making things even more challenging is the fact that the team has been bumped from Class-A to Class-AA because of higher enrolment this season.

According to the players and head coach Paul Seeley, the team has been working out and practicing hard since May. Seeley has a sign on his door that states, "Anybody, Any time, Any where." Seeley says that the team's biggest strength is their hard work.

"Our bright spot is how hard we've worked since May" says Seeley. "We've worked really hard on the field, in the weight room and all during the summer programs. They've got a great attitude. Now we just have to work extra hard in the next 3 weeks."

Even though the team lost a lot of their senior class, Senior Captain Charles Gary feels that there are plenty of players who can step in right away.

"We got a lot of underclassman coming up" says Gary. "We lost a lot of seniors last year. Our freshman class is crazy. With our freshman class coming up we should have a pretty good season. I'm real confident."
