Schiller Park on the northside of Syracuse is the newest beneficiary of the generous of the Jim and Juli Boeheim Foundation, the Carmelo Anthony Foundation, and Time Warner. It's all part of the Courts 4 Kids effort that just last year saw the fantastic re-doing of the courts at Wilson Park.

The Schiller Park ceremony will be on Friday at 2:30, with the NBA preseason game in the Carrier Dome that night, Jonny Flynn and Wes Johnson will be on hand for the event.

Boeheim stresses how important it is for youngsters in the community to have a safe place to play basketball, and to help them grow as people and athletes.
