The Syracuse University football team is off to its best start in 11 years at 4-1. It has the chance to go 5-1 with a win over Pittsburgh on Saturday at the Carrier Dome.

The five wins would be the most in a season since 2004, with six more games to play. 2004 is also the last time the Orange beat the Panthers.

Now with that said it's clear the fanbase and the community are excited, but what about prospective recruits? We asked Ryan Murray of CuseConfidential.com (part of the Rivals.com network) for his take, and he says the more wins that SU gets, the quality and quantity of recruits the Orange pulls in will increase.
