Syracuse (7-4 overall, 4-3 BIG EAST) will restore a storied rivalry when it hosts Boston College (6-5 overall, 4-4 ACC) on Saturday, November 27 in the Carrier Dome. The contest will be televised by ESPN with kickoff set for 12 p.m.

The final home game of the season will be a weekend of celebration and appreciation. The football program will celebrate the senior class, which has led the program back to bowl eligibility for the first time in six years, and the entire athletics department will show its appreciation for the Orange Nation throughout the week leading up to the game. On gameday all season ticket holders are invited to a party in their honor on the Quad starting at 9:00 a.m. and featuring cake and prizes.

Fans are invited to take advantage of daily ticket offers throughout the week, including the 12th Man Package on Monday, New York's College Team Combo Package on Tuesday, the Tops Family Pack on Wednesday, a football/basketball combo on Thursday, and an opportunity to purchase any ticket package on Friday. A nationally-ranked defense has helped propel the squad to its best start in nine seasons as the unit is performing at its best level since 1997, allowing just 293.2 yards per game, which ranks sixth in total defense. The Syracuse defense is ranked 10th nationally in passing defense, allowing just 161.9 yards per game. The Orange 13th nationally in scoring defense, holding opponents to just 18.3 points per game.

Freshman placekicker Ross Krautman is closing in on two SU records. He has connected on 15 consecutive field goals, which is one shy of Gary Anderson's 16 in a row in 1981. Krautman has 17 on the season, which is one shy of Anderson's single-season record of 18, also set in 1981. Krautman has hit 94. percent of his field goals this season, which ranks third nationally and first in the BIG EAST.

Syracuse holds a distinct edge in a rivalry against Boston College that dates back to 1924. The Orange has won 28 out of 45 all-time matchups against the Eagles, including 18 out of the 23 contests played in Syracuse. The last time the two programs met was in 2004, when Syracuse traveled to Boston College and emerged victorious with a 43-17 triumph.

Tickets for the game are available online, at the Carrier Dome Box Office (Gate B) and by phone (888-DOMETIX).
