The Pinstripe Bowl is now in the record books, and you'll get a different take of the game today depending on what media source you tune in to. The national sports media seems to be focussed on the controversy surrounding the "excessive celebration" call on Adrian Hilburn after his late game touchdown, a penalty call that may have botched K-State's opportunity to come back in the game. Instead their two point conversion attempt was pushed back, and ultimately no good, resulting in a 36-34 Orange win.

"I didn't even see it," said Head Coach Doug Marrone after the game, "I really didn't, my mind was going on to the next play, the two point play and making sure the defense was getting ready for it."

In Central New York the focus is more on a long awaited SU Bowl victory, an on MVP of the Pinstripe Bowl Delone Carter. The SU senior running back had been through so much in his college career, from surgeries to legal problems, but left one lasting impression to be proud of.

"Faith and strength in God (got me through)," said carter, "I felt like it was meant to be, and I went out and it happened."

"I don't think anybody could imagine the types of things he's been through since he's been at Syracuse," says teameate Antwon Bailey, "and being able to end his career this way with a Bowl win, I learned a lot from him."
