This week's Bryant & Stratton CNY Central Athlete is on a quest to become one of the greatest wrestlers Fulton has ever seen.
David Hall is a senior Red Raider wrestler who is just 8 wins away from breaking Fulton's school record.
Hall boasts a career record of 165-30, including an impressive 38-1 mark this season.
David says getting the record has been on his mind for a long time, and now he is counting down the matches until he sets the mark.
"I do the math, 'How many more matches do I need to win? What do I have to do? Who am I wrestling just to get the number of wins to secure the deal.' Just because that's always what I wanted, to be one of Fulton's best wrestlers," Hall says.
Hall is also a team captain, who enjoys leading the Red Raiders.
His coach, Michael Conners, says David is an exceptional leader, and deserves all the success he's had.
"In this sport, you pretty much get out of it what you put into it, and he's put an awful lot in," Conners says. "We're really hoping and praying, he really deserves to get a lot out at the end of the year."
Congratulations to David Hall, this week's Bryant & Stratton CNY Central Athlete.
