SYRACUSE -- The 2011 Orange National Letter of Intent signing class has grown to nine with the addition of quarterback Terrell Hunt and defensive back Shutang Mungwa. The pair joins seven student-athletes who had submitted their NLIs earlier this morning. The class also includes offensive linemen Kristofer Curtis, Nick Robinson and Rob Trudo, linebacker Cameron Lynch, running back Tyree Smallwood, wide receiver Keenan Hale and punter Jonathan Fisher.

Wednesday is the first day of the NCAA's National Letter of Intent signing period for football student-athletes. Follow SUathletics.com throughout the day to read about who will don the Orange for head coach Doug Marrone in 2011. Regular updates will be provided until the NLI class is complete. Fans are invited to watch live video coverage of Marrone’s press conference, which will be streamed at 4:30 pm.

Fans can also catch interviews with Marrone on ESPNU's College Football Signing Day program at 5:10 p.m. and on MSG Varsity's Signing Day Special at 8:00 p.m.

The Orange already added six student-athletes to the program with the enrollment of tight end Louis Addazio, defensive backs Siriki Diabate, Jaston George and Dyshawn Davis, wide receiver Jeremiah Kobena, and offensive lineman Lou Alexander in January.

The Football National Letter of Intent Signing Day reception and program for SU season ticket holders scheduled for 5:00 pm on Wednesday, Feb. 2 in Manley Field House has been postponed due to the weather forecast. The response for the celebratory event was tremendous, but with more than a foot of snow forecast for tomorrow, many fans have already called to cancel. The athletics department will work to identify another opportunity to celebrate our 2011 recruiting class and Football program with our Season Ticket holders.

SU's annual Spring practice begins on March 8 and will conclude with the annual Spring Game on Saturday, April 16 at the Carrier Dome.
