Former SU kicker Rob Long says his tryout with the Philadelphia Eagles went well on Wednesday, and that he was looking forward to unwinding. Long said via Twitter "Workout went well thank you for all the support, and thank you for the @Eagles for having me. Now looking go play some golf... Who's around?".

Long also worked out  for a number of NFL scouts last month at SU's Pro Day. The workout was just weeks removed from the chemotherapy he was undergoing after having a brain tumor removed late last year. Long also recently "tweeted "that an MRI has indicated the tumor is gone.
