SYRACUSE -- This week's Bryant & Stratton College CNY Central Athlete is a decorated tri-sport at Westhill High School.

Nathan Nigolian has won a Section III Championship in all three sports he plays; football, basketball, and baseball. Perhaps more impressively, he's won a New York State Championship in basketball, and a pair of State Championships in baseball. Nate has a chance to go for four, and three in baseball as the Warriors season is getting underway on the diamond.

Nigolian is basically a household name, given all his success in the three sports, but it's Nate the person that makes him such an incredible individual.

"I just became a grandfather" Westhill baseball Coach Bob Weismore said. "If he (my grandson) is half as great as Nathan Nigolian, I'll be very happy".

I think that pretty much sums it up.
