It felt like the shortest game of the season in Section III, but it was definitely the most surreal game of the season. Lafayette might have thought they had gotten revenge on Cazenovia after being beaten by them pretty badly earlier in the season. Lafayette was leading 14-11 a couple of weeks ago when the game was called because of lightning with 4:08 remaining in regulation. The remainder of that game was played on Wednesday afternoon, and the team from Cazenovia could not have made it more worth their while, pulling off a dramatic 15-14 overtime victory.

Cazenovia scored three goals within the final two minutes, two from Sean Cannizarro and one from Matt Donovan, but it was Donovan with one more goal up his sleeve in overtime, putting a capper on a surreal comeback, and benefiting Cazenovia in the standings heading towards the playoffs. The hero Donovan called it surreal, but a full team effort.

"It's a team effort, to come back like that and we only had four minutes to do it, we didn't have the ball for like 2 (of those minutes). The team really came together."
