When Rob Murphy left SU Basketball as Assistant Coach to be the Head Coach of Eastern Michigan a few months ago, it seemed natural that Syracuse would eventually meet Murphy's new team on the hardwood. Murphy will be returning to the Dome sooner than many may have thought. It was announced on Tuesday that Syracuse and Eastern Michigan will meet on Tuesday, November 29 at the Carrier Dome. 

Not only will the game mark the return of Murphy, but it will be the very first time the Orange have faced the Eagles. EMU was 9-22 overall and 5-11 in the Mid-American Conference a season ago.

According to an SU media release, new season tickets will go on sale on Wednesday, August 24, at 10:00 a.m. Single-game sales will start on Wednesday, October 12, at 10:00 a.m. Additional information on tickets can be obtained by logging on to SUAtheltics.com or by calling 888-DOME-TIX.
