The Chicago Bears website confirms that the 2011 NFC runner-ups have signed former Syracuse University defensive back Mike Holmes.

Holmes was one of 19 undrafted free agents signed by Chicago on Tuesday, and is the third SU player to sign with an NFL team.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
