Kathleen Ekey shot a final round two-under par 69 to win the Alliance Bank Classic on Sunday. It was an impressive win for Ekey who finished the day 3 full strokes ahead of 2009 Alliance Bank Champion Jenny Suh. It was Ekey's 2nd win on the Futures Tour.

Already the leading money-winner on the Futures Tour, Ekey earned $14,000 for the win, putting her earnings at $63,225 for this season this season. She is the leading money-earner on the tour so far, which bodes well since the top five money earners at the end of the year get a fully exempt status on the LPGA Tour next season.
