Well, not many people expected that.

CBA opened up the 2011 season with a dominating 27-0 win over the back-to-back defending Section III Champions from Baldwinsville.

Cameron MacPherson took over the reins at quarterback, but it was CBA's ground game led by Michael Vavonese, Anthony Bunn, and MacPherson (yes, Macky's brother and the grandson of Coach Mac) that took control of the game.

CBA controlled the game from start to finish, and has a 1-0 start heading into a showdown with the Massachussets State Champion Mansfield next Friday in the Carrier Dome

"I don't care if you win by 1 point or 27..if this doesn't excite you..I don't know..play golf or play the guitar" said CBA Coach Joe Casamento

Casamento though, delivered the bad news to his team:

"We're gonna be in the weight room at 8:30 sharp tomorrow morning" Casamento told his team.

The players though, didn't moan or groan, in fact one player said "Let's go boys!"

Truly the right mindset, a statement so to speak, on a night where CBA made a statement to all of New York State.
