SYRACUSE (AP) -- Syracuse senior defensive end Chandler Jones, who's missed the last four games with a lower body injury, has been cleared for limited practice.

Jones will not play Saturday night at Tulane, but he will return to full practice on Monday during the Orange's first bye week.

The Syracuse defense has been riddled by injuries, none more significant than the one to Jones. He was in on one sack among his five tackles in Syracuse's overtime win over the Demon Deacons in the season-opener.

A hit by Jones on starting quarterback Tanner Price early in the fourth quarter sent Price to the sidelines for good, and the Orange rallied from 15 points behind to win it 32-29.
