The girls high school soccer playoffs rolled on Monday night, with Class C-1 and C-2 deciding its title game matchups.

Class C is different than the other classes in Section III in that there are so many schools that fit in that class enrollment wise that it has to be split into entirely different classes.

Monday's games decided who would play for the C-1 and C-2 championships, while the winners of those games will meet in an overall Class C championship, the winner of that game represents Central New York against the rest of the state.

We stopped by CBA tonight, where Fabius-Pompey met up with Manlius Pebble Hill in Class C-2. MPH was enjoying a Cinderella run, upending top-seeded West Canada Valley last week, but the 8th seeded Lady Trojans were stopped on Halloween by 4th seeded F-P. The Falcons scored two goals in each half on its way to a 4-0 victory and a spot in the C-2 championship game. In that contest, which is Wednesday night, they will meet Morrisville-Eaton, who defeated Bishop Grimes 2-1 on Monday.

In Class C-1, Bishop Ludden won a thriller of a game with Saquoit Valley 1-0 in overtime. With the win, the 3rd seeded Gaelic Knights earn a matchup with top-seeded Tully with the C-1 crown on the line. That game is also slated for Wednesday night.
