SU sophomore C.J. Fair led the Orange with 13 points in Monday night's win over Louisville, perhaps one of the biggest wins for Syracuse this season. Now Fair has been named as a finalist for one of the biggest plays of the season too, with his monster dunk against Pittsburgh advancing to the finals of the GEICO Play of the Year.
Fair is now one of eight finalists for the award, which with be announced on CBS on March 25th.
The dunk happened during the 71-63 win Pittsburgh, a one-handed slam plus the foul call. Scoop Jardine went up for the shot initially, but passed the ball to Fair in mid-air to the top of the key. Fair took care of the rest, as you can see in this YOUTube video.
