ITHACA, TOMPKINS CO. -- A 30-year-old man was killed in a farm equipment accident at Sweyolakan Farm in Ithaca.

It happened just before 1 p.m. at the Sweyolakan Farm at 380 Bostwick Road.

The man got entangled in an auger-type device while working. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

The Tompkins County Sheriff's Office is investigating the incident. They have not released the man's name.
