ALEXANDRIA BAY -- State Police in Alexandria Bay say a man has died after a fire at his home on County Route 2 in Jefferson County.

Troopers say 72-year-old Robert Cheesman was taken to the hospital, and died shortly after.

After the initial investigation, troopers say the fire seems to be accidental.
