Cotton futures higher Wednesday

NEW YORK (AP) — Cotton futures No. 2 closed $4.95 to $7.05 a bale higher Wednesday.

The average price for strict low middling 1 & 1-16 inch spot cotton advanced 99 points to 57.53 cents a pound Wednesday for the seven markets, according to the Market News Branch, Memphis USDA.
