Last weekend was a big weekend in Hollywood with the Golden Globes. Around these parts, the Golden Snowball  is at least as big as the Golden Globes, and maybe even bigger!

What's the weather connection?   

Although the glitz and glamour of Hollywood and Beverly Hills is a far cry from the Central New York way of life, (thank goodness), I find myself increasingly more concerned about the Hollywood movie and party scene

Warmest January to November Period on Record   

The Northeast was 0.6 degrees Fahrenheit above normal during November 2010, making it the 11th consecutive month with above normal average temperatures.

Considering the amount of snow we’ve had in Syracuse and many parts of central NY over the past two weeks ( 50+ inches ), it would seem the odds favor having a white Christmas, at least locally
