National Weather Service confirms tornado in Madison County Watch Video

GEORGETOWN, MADISON COUNTY -- The National Weather Service has confirmed that a tornado touched down in Madison County on Saturday afternoon around 4:30 PM. The National Weather Service estimated the tornado to have winds of 100 to 120 miles per hour.

The Weather Service was in town Sunday checking over the area. The tornado caused a circular pattern of damage and is to blame for toppled trees, downed wires and roof damage.
