CANANDAIGUA -- The National Weather Service today confirmed that an EF-1 tornado touched down in Canandaigua during a brief, but violent thunder storm Saturday afternoon.  The Weather Service says the twister touched down for about a half mile, and was about 35-50 yards wide.
