FARMINGTON -- The burst of winter weather is to blame for cancelling races at the Finger Lakes Casino and Racetrack.
The entire afternoon of thoroughbred racing is cancelled due to the winter storm moving through the area. Heavy, wet snow continues to fall, leaving conditions less than ideal for racing.
The casino will remain open until 4 p.m., and simulcasting of various tracks throughout the country will continue as scheduled.
Live racing will resume tomorrow.
