FAYETTE -- People in Seneca County are out in full force, cleaning up after Tuesday's storm.

Teresa DeMonstoy, who lives in the Seneca County town of Fayette, says the high winds and hail created a frightening experience.

"You don't know if you're going to be like 'The Wizard of Oz', and everything's going to be lifted, and you're going to go with it," says DeMonstoy.

DeMonstoy's garage was destroyed, and her home was heavily damaged by hail.

Pieces of a roof from a nearby barn flew into DeMonstoy's front yard, leaving an indent in the grass. However, she says the whole neighborhood came together to clean up, and people keep stopping by to make sure she's OK.
