CAMILLUS -- State Police partnered with Camillus Police on Route 5 in Camillus Wednesday night, making a sobriety checkpoint.

Starting at 9pm, they stopped every car that went by on Route 5 in Camillus near Ike Dixon road, checking each driver and their car for signs of alcohol. It was the only local sobriety checkpoint on Wednesday night.

The police say there will be saturation points and extra patrols throughout the holiday weekend.
